# Profile, workspace, billing, and security

> Your personal account, your workspace's look, your Sable subscription, and the locks on all of it.

This page covers the account itself: who you are in Sable, how your
workspace looks, what you pay, and how it all stays locked down.

## Your profile

Your avatar at the bottom of the sidebar opens your personal **Account
settings**: your name, your profile photo, and your preferences. This is
you-the-person; your salon's public identity (the name and logo clients
see) lives in **Settings** → **Business** and
[Booking Page](/getting-started/publish-online-booking).

## How Sable looks

Two layers, on purpose:

* **Your preference**: light or dark, and the **Cozy** or **Smart** style,
  under Account settings → **Preferences**.
* **The workspace default**: in **Settings** → **Business**, the owner
sets the workspace theme and decides whether team members can pick
their own. One salon, one look, unless you choose otherwise.

## Billing: your Sable subscription

The **Billing** page in Settings manages what you pay Sable: your plan,
the card on file, and your invoice history. Plans follow the shape of the
business: a solo tier, and a salon tier that adds multi-stylist payouts,
commissions, and team reporting. Changing or canceling is self-serve, and
canceling keeps your access through what you've paid for.

Two different cards to keep straight: the card here pays *for Sable*; the
payouts in [Payments & Banking](/guides/payments/payouts-and-verification)
are your salon's money *from clients*. Separate rails, separate pages.

## Security

Under Account settings → **Security**:

* **Password**: add or change one alongside your phone sign-in.
* **Two-factor authentication**: scan the QR code with an authenticator
app, save your recovery codes somewhere that isn't a screenshot in your
camera roll, and regenerate them if they ever leak.
* **Sessions**: every device signed into your account, with the browser
and platform listed. See one you don't recognize, or lose a phone?
Revoke it, or revoke everything but the device in your hand.

For owners: your account can move money and read every client record,
so turn on two-factor first for yourself, then nudge the team.

## Connected accounts and voice

The remaining Account settings tabs cover **Connected Accounts** (external
sign-ins linked to yours) and **Voice**, where Jules's voice experience is
configured. Both are set-and-forget for most people.
