Your message lineup
Go to Settings → Notifications. Each automatic message can be on or off, and together they cover the client’s whole arc:
Turn on what fits how you run. A quiet lineup (confirmation, reminder,
thank-you) already does most of the no-show fighting; the rest is
retention working in the background.
Confirmations close the loop
The appointment reminder asks the client to confirm. When they do, the appointment flips to Confirmed on your calendar, and your morning glance at the day tells you who’s locked in versus who might need a follow-up. The statuses are covered in Create and manage appointments.Timing you don’t have to think about
Scheduled messages go out at respectful hours in your salon’s timezone. A reminder for tomorrow’s 7 AM appointment doesn’t wake anyone at 3 AM to do it. Time-sensitive messages triggered by a real action, like a cancellation you make at night for an early-morning appointment, still deliver right away, because the client genuinely needs to know before they drive over.Getting the most from the lineup
- Set your rebook interval realistically. The rebook nudge is only as smart as the interval it’s based on: six weeks for cuts and twelve for color beats one number for everything.
- Birthdays need birthdays. The greeting only sends if the profile has a birthday; add them as you learn them.
- Watch your no-show rate after turning reminders on. That number moving is the whole point, and it’s in your reports.
